Everyman   This series of hand colored woodcuts is based on my reading of Butler's Lives of the Saints.  From thousands of saint biographies I selected stories that included objects, activities, occupations, and events that had something in common with the average person. The resulting prints mix high and low, sacred and profane.  My idea is that if there is an aspect of the average person, the everyman, in each saint, there may be an aspect of the saint in every one of us.  There are about 75 prints in the series so far.
